This stand was very easy to setup and is very sturdy. I put felt pads on the legs to make sure they don't scratch our hardwood floors. The black matches the black plastic trim on our 10 gal tank almost perfectly.

Brand new Salinity Refractometer that is used to measure the salinity levels of saltwater aquariums and the worlds oceans. Calibrate with either distilled water or a 35ppt Salinity standard. Wipe off the saltwater after each use. This unit comes with Automatic Temperature Compensation or "ATC". This feature allows you to get a reading outdoors when the temp is between 50'F-86" (10'C-30'C). If you test outside of temp range your readings will become gradually more and more inaccurate. For best results, test indoors. No batteries necessary as you only need strong light - daylight (sunny or cloudy) or a lamp/flashlight.

This Product is well manufactured and of sturdy design, It arrived needing no calibration and works well. I must mention customer service. When this product arrived it arrived in a padded envelope, however, the case for the refractometer was severely damaged in shipping. The case is constructed of pretty thin/brittle plastic with an excellent amount of internal padding, great for storing and handling household wear and tear but not so good for a shipping case. When it arrived and I saw the case I figured "oh well Im not going to send this back for a broken case the refractometer still worked great(probably due to its rugged/sturdy design and the amount of foam padding inside the case) and I will just live with it. I did however leave shipping feedback to the effect of what I mentioned earlier. Well I check my mail less than a week later and lo' and behold there is a brand new case(double wrapped in padded material...lol). I didnt ask for a new case but this company took it upon themselves to go ahead and ship me a new one! Customer service! this is why I now give this product/company 5 stars

This light is amazing, especially for the price. The brightness is just enough for my plants to grow, but not too bright to the point where I would have to buy a light stand to raise it. The light is basically fully plastic other than the adjustable stands and the finish is completely black, which in my opinion, looks really good. The light has two options, the night switch for the blue LEDs and the regular LED switch with both white and blue LEDs on at the same time. The light itself is a little over 4 inches in width which is much wider than my Finnex Fugeray but that shouldn't be an issue for most people. I have a planted 10 gallon that is 20 inches in length and a planted 7 gallon that's 24 inches in length and this light fits perfectly. Note: For most of you who have fish tanks that are 20 inches in length, please do not buy the 11-19" version because the LED light will be too small and short. I got the 20-27" and it fits on both my fish tanks.

So this thermometer comes with the suction cup. It's supposed to be able to stick inside the tank, underwater so that it can accurately read the water temperature. I stuck my thermometer in first, and then added the water (it only seemed logical). I've had it for three days, and so far it has been sturdy. My betta even nudges it sometimes and it does not budge. My only issue with it is that the numbers for the temperatures are between two longer lines, which makes it a little confusing as to what temperature the water is. It would really help if they made that a little clearer. On the plus side the thermometer does have a range of temperatures that are perceived to be optimal for fish, which is highlighted in green. Because of this I am giving the product 5 stars. If there was no green highlight for optimal water temperatures, I would have to give it 4 stars because there would be no clear telling of what the temperature is. Overall, I would recommend this product. It is sturdy, and easy enough to read as long as your water temperature is in the green zone. I will update this post over time if the suction cup begins to fail.
